Why don't you inlude birth/death dates with names?

There is an "Options" link at the bottom of the Family Echo screen that lets you control many aspects of how your Family Tree is displayed.

Okay but where do I fill in date & cause of death?

Cause of death is in the biographical tab on the left when you click on a person. Date of death is right under Date of Birth (after you uncheck the box that says that the person is still living).
