How do I delete a duplicate name?

I had to add in a missed generation. To do this, I added a duplicate name and switched the primary parents to make it 'correct', but now the tree won't let me delete the duplicate. How can I get rid of it? TIA

Duplicates are not errors or problems. They are just people who are related in multiple ways so they appear on the tree in two different places.
