How to delete a branch of the tree or an individual

How do i delete an individual or a brach of a tree

Click on the name and select 'more actions...' and select 'Delete (name)'. It may say 'This person cannot be deleted because that would split the tree. Try deleting outer people on the tree first.' You should do exactly that. It is very manual.
