Without warning the font has gone tiny and appears to have changed too.

The magnifiers at the bottom of the page will make the font even smaller but will not magnify to the normal font size.

The problem only seems to occur on Chrome and no other websites (using Chrome) are affected by this strange shrinkage.

Have you tried Ctrl+0 to reset the zoom in the browser back to 100%? If that doesn't work you could try resetting the default fonts in Chrome. Apart from that I'm not sure how to fix this as it seems to be specific to your browser.
