I would like to share my tree in view only format because I am scared to share it and some family member accidently delete or mess it up. Is there a way to share in a read/view only format???

Yes, if you share your family tree but make sure the 'Allow to edit' box is not checked, then your relatives will receive a link to a read only version of the tree.
