How can I add notes

How can I add notes. Ex: my great grandfather was born with one name, then changed it later to his occupation

Question 2

Select the person (ex: your great grandfather) on the sidebar select [Edit ... Details] then click on the biographical tab. You can add that type of info into the "Bio notes" field.
