I have been working on my family tree for 8 hours, and now - suddenly - despite backing up every half hour or so, the family tree has been reduced to about 18 names. Can I retreive all of my photographs and information? If so, how??

If you are signed in, then you should see a 'Changes saved' message in the top right corner. Is it possible that you switched to a different family tree? (you can see a list by clicking 'My Account' also in the top right corner).
