What does the ^ (caret) character mean in FamilyScript? It appears to have something to do with a reference to a next of kin individual, but it is not documented in the format specifications at https://www.familyecho.com/?page=familyscript . It does appear in Family Echo exports, though. Thanks in advance.

It references the individual which the person was created from. So for everyone on the family tree, you can see which person they were originally added to.

Thank you! Maybe you could add this information to the file format description.
