When I share Family Tree is it editable or view only (what is default?)

I'd like to show family members the tree but it isn't finished and I don't want anyone to be able to do any editing - before I share it I'd like to know if the default is that it can be edited or not.

When you click 'Invite ??? to share family' you have the choice of allowing them to edit or not. By default this box is checked, but you can uncheck it before pressing send or copying the link.
