How indicate birth and adopted parents

Question

My ffather was adopted when very young, and his surname changed.  However I am aware of the details of his birth parents, and in fact treated both sets as my grandparents.  How can I indicate on my tree that my father in fact had both birth parents and adopted parents?  Thanks.
