How can I split a family tree?

I want to create a GED for only one branch.

I don't know of anyway to do that directly from Family Echo

HOWEVER

You could export a GEDCOM from FamilyEcho then important that file into Gramps, which doesn't allow you to export GEDCOM files of tree segments.

I know it's a bit roundabout, but it will get the result you want.
