"You cannot share this family"

Hello, I finished making a tree, and I want to share the tree via URL. I have done this before with different trees I've made.

However, each time I click "Share," I get this message:

 

You cannot share the family with ****** ******. Please try clicking someone else on the tree.

 

It gives me this same message no matter who I click on. Please help, I really want to share this tree.

You get that message if you try to share the tree with someone on the tree that is not alive.  You can only create a share link with someone on the tree that is living.

Ohhh that totally makes sense, thank you! I'm making a family tree for my Dungeons and Dragons character, so I was trying to share the tree from the family's founder, who is... well, dead. lol
