I'd like to share parts of the tree I've made with relatives that have no interest in other parts.  There doesn't seem to be a way to export only certain branches of the tree. Alternatively, I could do this by importing the whole tree to create a new one and then delete the non-relevant parts. The problem is I don't seem to be ablet to detete whole branches at a time--it gives me a message saying the family will be broken into pieces.  Is there any way to facilitate just copying certain portions of the tree into a new file?

Thanks.

This is a great question, and hopefully we will add this functionality in future. For now, the only way to create these extra families is by doing what you say. To delete people from the tree, you need to start with the bottom of the tree where there are no dependencies.

Okay, thanks,  but please let us know as soon as you add a feature to help with this.  I may just wait to share the tree until I can delete branches wholesale because it is rather tedious to eliminate about 100 people one by one.
