Is there a place for general notes about the family?

I have information about a descendent but don't know where he connects into the family.  I would still like to include this information for the family to view.

And by the way, I think that this is an awesome site!  Very user friendly!  Thank you!

I tend to put free-form text about someone in the Bio Notes section of the Biographical tab.

To which person in your tree you want to add that data, you'll need to decide.
