Cannot share family tree with hotmail emails accounts

I cannot share family tree with anyone with a hotmail email account, any one come across this and any solutions

Exactly what is happening?  Try sending the tree link by copying the link at the bottom of the left sharing panel and sending it manually.  Don't use the [Send Email] button as it is known to have problems.

Thanks a lot, works but the recipient cannot make any changes

For the recipient to be able to make changes the "Allow Xxxxx to edit family" must be selected when creating the link.  Also the recipient must also create their own F.E. account to be able to edit.
