Hi there! I initially created my tree for my own information, so I included a lot of personal information in the Biographical sections, when family members told me details.
Now that I am interested in making my tree available to relatives, those personal details obviously need to be removed first. I performed the CSV download so that I could see the column of Bio Notes to easily remove any details that shouldn't be available to everyone.
I'm stuck, however, because I don't know how to match the ID each person is given, to the person in my online tree. For instance, I have a person who was added with no name. I don't know their name, but my source told me personal details about them which should not be shared with everyone. I can see the Bio Note with the personal details, and I can see the person's ID, but since their name is unknown...how do I find them on my tree to delete this piece of information? I have this happening many times in my tree. (I'm hoping the answer is not, "Edit it in Excel and re-upload the whole tree." because then I'll lose tree photos, won't I?)
I haven't been able to find a search function on the website...I was hoping there would be one for the ID's. This also makes it incredibly difficult when trying to find someone specific, because my tree has over 1,700 people in it and many of them share the same name. (The only way I'm aware of to search is through the Find button, and I start typing their first name. Am I missing something?)
Basically I just need to know how to locate this nameless person in the online tree, using only their ID, so I can edit them. Thanks so much for any help!!!
