Can I create a duplicate of my tree to share with people?

I would like to create a tree just for a particular section of my family, then give them copies of it so they can then add their extended family to it.  I don't necessarily want to see all of those people, so I don't want to just share one massive tree.  Can I download it in a CSV format, then have them upload it so they don't have to enter all of those people all over again?

Yes and no.  A CSV file will not work as there is no ability in F.E. to upload CSV files.  You need to download a GEDCOM or FamilyScript file.  Your familt members can then create their own separate tree by uploading that file under their own account.
