How do I get it to say 'late husband/wife' in the Partners tab?

In the info section (Personal - Partners - Contact - Biographical) how do I make it so that if someone's partner dies it says 'late husband/wife' for them? Does it have to be a very recent death to say that? Thanks.

You do this on the spouse's information panel by unchecking that they are living. After you do that, on the spouces partner tab it will list as "widow" or "widower", and on the their partner tab it will list as "Late husband" or "Late wife".
