Be careful what you wish for ....

Duplicates come in all shape and sizes - keeping track of them is a big responsibility – your bigger problem is GETTING LOCKED OUT of changes to your tree – I have had to erase nearly 60 family members to correct a duplicate entry once and put them back in one by one because I didn’t pay attention – THINK TWICE / CLICK ONCE – It is also best to minimize the ANOM (followed by a number type it in search box) entrees  of this nature they leave a latent contact points in the tree – and finally take the name you are going to use in and type it in the SEARCH BOX BEFORE YOU ADD IT TO THE TREE / watch for the dates / last names / using Sr. and Jr. as well a Roman Numerals I II III IV etc. / Prefix’s and Suffix’s  DR. HON. SGT. ESQ. Pres. Capt. (Sailing ship / Military)  etc  Little things that will SEPPERATE that entry from all the others making your life easier.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY WATCH FOR MERGING FAMILIES NAMES - THAT’S WHERE THE REAL TROUBLE STARTS.

Remember this is all done long before you put EACH  ENTRY into YOUR TREE.

Good Luck
