How can I link my ancestors to Charles the Great( also my ancestor 38xg- grandfather)

So, I am not only related to him by his son Louis  but also by his daughter but I  don't know how to select him as being her dad. ...

What I am getting from your question is that you have Louis, Charles, and his daughter already on your tree, with Charles and Louis being connected but the daughter isn't. To connect Charles to his daughter, click on the daughter, click <Change or delete>, then <Change parents>, and then you can select Charles as her father, and all should be connected.
