Overwrite current family tree

Is there a way to import to current family tree without having to create a new one each time?

I use a different programme to do my tree and using FamilyEcho to share to family with a link. I just dont want to keep having to send a new link each time.

Question 2

What do you think about giving them a bit.ly URL, and when you do a new import into FamilyEcho, changing the bit.ly URL to point to the new FamilyEcho link?
