Can I seperate my tree into five families please?

I have a tree with approx. 1,300 people in it. Looking back I wish I'd seperated my family tree into five or six of the main family names seperately. Would this be possible now that I've done my whole family tree?

There is no way to do this from within Family Echo,  it it is the kind of thing that people want to do with Family Trees. Here is one set of pretty in depth instructions for splitting a GEDCOM file. If you search for "Splitting a GEDCOM" file, you can find others.
