How do you update permissions to someone you shared the family tree to view only.  To restrict the ability to delete.

There is no way to remove permissions (either view or edit) once you grant them. Even deleting the family tree will not remove their access to it (but it will remove your access).

You could export your family tree, import it, and use that new copy as your tree. No one else will have access to it. But photos do not import/export.
